Safeguarding Due Process: Transparency and Accountability in the use of Preventive Detention

In observance of Constitution Day, the University of Pretrial is hosting a conversation on Safeguarding Due Process: Transparency and Accountability in the use of Preventive Detention.  A common concern about preventive detention is the potential for overuse or a lack of procedural safeguards.  On this webcast we will discuss how parties inside and outside the system can ensure that preventive detention is used sparingly and appropriately.
